I had a discussion with a few of my business partners that I previously worked with today about some losses we all suffered together the last two years. It was interesting to see their attitudes in regards to the loss. They both felt "robbed" and felt that they would never recover from the loss. I had a totally different mentality about it. Although the losses were sizable for us I learned to invest in myself and take ownership and responsibility for where my money is and what it does. That lesson was and will be more valuable to me than anything I learned in 4 years of college. I will never regret falling flat on my face and losing everything I had to that point. It was the best money I ever "spent" on a real education. If you have lost business or money in the past... dust yourself off, take a deep breath and come back and join the ranks. Thanks for the post! It reassured my feelings on the subject.
